a 1,000km ride to help provide water for the Bayaka people

In Sept of 2010, I started a campaign to raise money for the Bayaka people, who live in the rainforest in the Central African Republic. I pledged to ride 1 km for every $ raised - and ended up with a little over $900. So now it's time for me to uphold my part of the bargain. On August 15th, I'll set off with my wife Debbie, and our friends Paul & Bekah Dreisbach to bike down to Spain from where we live/work, the Château de St. Albain.

What's our route? We don't really know - but here's a guess.
